We’re currently working on a real treat of a feature about vintage street parties for our first issue – and we’d love you to be involved! Are you planning a street party or special event for the Jubilee? Or have you previously held a vintage-inspired street party, a picnic in the park or themed afternoon tea party? Did you plan a street party style wedding? Do you make or collect British street party accessories or memorabilia? Would you like to recommend any delicious picnic recipes that would go down a storm at a street party? Do you have any advice, from your own experience, for how to put on Britain’s best street party? We would love to hear from you and share your tips – please get in touch and tell us your plans! |
We are having a family jubilee party. I already have union jack bunting (that is permanently up in the den) and also paper chains that will be put to good use. We are having good old fish and chips..in paper no washing up!! plus strawberries and cream sponge later. Very British!!
