Pretty Nostalgic is a bi-monthly home and lifestyle magazine that celebrates vintage, traditional and sustainable ways of living. We passionately support independent British producers and love seeking out unique, eclectic homes and meeting people who love life and live by their own rules. The magazine is packed with inspiration to help make your house a home, to fill your kitchen with homegrown and foraged food, to inspire you to reuse and upcycle and to make every day an adventure. It is a handbook for creative, curious and resourceful folk who yearn for a simple, stylish and sustainable lifestyle.
Each issue is filled with beautiful illustrations and photographs of inspiring homes, gardens, food and fashion with hints and tips to help you to embrace nostalgic ways of living. We are completely independent: we have no investors, shareholders or stakeholders who have a say in how we run our magazine.
Our advertisers are reputable independent British companies or individuals, who either actively support British manufacturers or make or sell British products.
We will try, wherever possible, to ensure that our sellers and stockists share our values and that they receive a fair share of the cover price.

Your magazine is an absolute delight. I discovered it quite by chance when I gave the larger book to a friend as a Christmas gift. Until then I didn’t know of the existence of a magazine. I bought this book from Cooper & Cooper in Hungerford, Berkshire – my favourite shop in Hungerford. As I have subscriptions to other magazines I normally pass them on to the GP surgery. Pretty Nostalgic will never be passed on but stay in a pile in the guest room for all our friends to enjoy who come to stay with us.
